Frustration is growing in Kivunano, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo after the M23 armed group captured Kanyabayonga. Protesters attacked a humanitarian convoy, setting vehicles on fire, resulting in the deaths of two aid workers. Panic is spreading in North Kivu province, with many expressing frustration over the perceived failure of the army and the United Nations to provide protection. The ongoing conflict between the Congolese army and the M23 group has led to the deployment of additional troops.
