French and British emergency services passed responsibility on to each other as the worst migrant drowning in English Channel history unfolded, a new report has claimed. On 24 November 2021, a rubber dinghy carrying 34 migrants sank in the English Channel, killing 31 people and an unborn baby, despite repeatedly desperate calls to coastguard services on both sides of the Channel. A preliminary investigation, carried out by a law firm on behalf of some of the relatives, has uncovered communications between the British and French emergency services which suggests neither side took responsibility for the unfolding disaster. #channel #migrants #drownin #SkyNews SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel for more videos: http://www.youtube.com/skynews Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/skynews Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/skynews Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/skynews Follow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@skynews For more content go to http://news.sky.com and download our apps: Apple: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sky-n...
