US officials say the surge of federal immigration agents in Minneapolis is ending after weeks of protests, the killings of two US citizens and more than 4,000 immigration arrests. At a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing, the heads of ICE and US Border Patrol said they had no evidence the victims were domestic terrorists, despite earlier claims by senior Trump officials.
