US lawmakers demand oversight at Trump’s ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ detention centre

Democratic lawmakers in the US have been given a brief tour of a newly built detention centre, for undocumented immigrants in Florida. It's been described as “Alligator Alcatraz”, as it's in wetlands full of alligators and snakes, to deter escape and inspire fear. Now, the White House is looking to build more facilities.
