US President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth have doubled down on US military strikes on alleged Venezuelan drug-smuggling vessels. Hegseth defended a reported second strike on a boat in September, blaming the 'fog of war' for not knowing there were survivors in the water when it was ordered. The US has been targeting vessels in the Caribbean it says are trafficking drugs. More than 80 people have been killed in the attacks since September. Venezuela's government denies any links to drug trafficking. Speaking at a cabinet meeting at the White House, US President Donald Trump didn't rule out future attacks on Venezuela. Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher reports from the White House.
