Violence against women in Kenya: Activists are pushing for more govt protections

Police in Kenya say 97 women have been killed in the past three months, some in the most violent ways. Rights activists are calling on the government to declare rising cases of violence against women a national disaster. In January, thousands of people protested, demanding measures to protect women.
