Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with Donald Trump at the White House for talks on Friday. On Thursday he met with delegations from US defense companies, including Raytheon, the company that makes Tomahawk missiles and Patriot systems that Kyiv has been requesting to ramp up its defense capabilities.Aside from domestically produced, long-range drones, Ukraine is hoping to secure the delivery of Tomahawk cruise missiles. Cold-War-era Tomahawks are one of the backbones of American deep-strike capabilities and were designed to reach targets deep inside the Soviet Union. Meanwhile Trump said he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Hungary soon. Putin initiated a phone call with Trump to discuss the possible delivery of the Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, saying it would harm Moscow's relations with Washington.
