Sir Keir Starmer's leadership is coming under increasing pressure after the resignation of key government members and a call from Scotland's Labour leader for the prime minster to quit. The crisis was triggered by revelations of Peter Mandelson's association with Jeffrey Epstein - and how much Sir Keir knew when he appointed him UK ambassador to the US. The cabinet rallied round the prime minister after Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar called for him to go.
