Cameroon's 92-year-old President Paul Biya has announced he will seek an eighth term in power. Elections are scheduled for October. Biya's decision to stand comes amid speculation he would not run. Biya has had frequent health problems and spends much of his time abroad. In a post on social media, Biya promised that "the best is yet to come."
