The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said Putin’s agreement to stop striking energy infrastructure was 'at odds with reality' following a series of drone attacks across Ukraine. Russia hit civilian areas overnight and damaged two hospitals, following a two-hour conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in which Russia agreed to a partial ceasefire. The Russian president rejected Trump’s request for a full 30-day ceasefire, to which Ukraine had agreed last week in Jeddah, but the pair agreed on a moratorium on strikes on energy and infrastructure targets.'Today I will have contact with President Trump,' Zelenskyy said at a news conference following the strikes. 'We will discuss the details of the next steps with him,' he said, adding that Russia is 'not satisfied when something is going in the right direction' Russia attacks Ukraine hours after partial ceasefire agreed in Putin-Trump call Ukraine war briefing: Russian drone strikes immediately follow Trump-Putin talks
