A breakaway faction of the Pakistan Taliban is claiming responsibility for a suicide bomb attack in Islamabad. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar group says it was behind the blast that killed at least 12 people. Authorities say explosives were detonated near a police car outside a court building. The area was crowded at the time and at least 20 people have been injured. Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder has more from Islamabad, Pakistan. Imtiaz Gul is a political and security analyst and the executive director of the Center for Research and Security Studies.
