BREAKING: Trump says he 'needs to protect our people' after moving nuclear submarines

Donald Trump says he ordered two US nuclear submarines to be moved to "appropriate regions" following a "threat that was made that we did not think was appropriate" from Russia. The US president said he was making the order due to "highly provocative" comments by former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev. Trump said he acted "just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that. Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances", he wrote on Truth Social.
