Could Iran see US boots on the ground?

The United States military is deploying thousands of additional Marines and sailors to the Middle East, U.S. officials told Reuters, as the ‌U.S.-Israeli war on Iran reached the three-week mark.   Deployment options include securing safe passage for oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, a mission that would be accomplished primarily through air and naval forces, sources exclusively told Reuters.
