Is Trump’s Board of Peace just a power play?

In the same month he ordered strikes on Venezuela and threatened to seize Greenland, Donald Trump has been inviting countries to join his "Board of Peace". The US president and disruptor-in-chief has pitched the board as a mechanism to rebuild Gaza - yet its charter does not even mention the territory. Russia has been invited, while still waging war on Ukraine – so what is this so-called Board of Peace? Can it achieve a lasting solution for Palestine?
