Israeli forces advance in southern Lebanon as fierce battles with Hezbollah intensify

Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters are engaged in intense combat in southern Lebanon, particularly around the strategically important village of Khiam. Israel is conducting air strikes and artillery bombardments to disrupt Hezbollah's supply routes and prevent the movement of weapons and fighters towards the border. Hezbollah is resisting Israeli advances, targeting Israeli troops inside Lebanese territory with rockets and anti-tank weapons, including strikes on Merkava tanks.
