Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga dies of heart attack in India at 80

Kenyans are in mourning after the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Hundreds have gathered in the capital Nairobi to pay tribute to the veteran opposition leader. Odinga was receiving medical treatment at a hospital in India when he suffered a heart attack. Raila Odinga was a prominent figure in Kenya's struggle for democracy. He served as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2013. He also ran unsuccessfully for the presidency five times. Al Jazeera's Catherine Soi takes a look back at his life and career.
