Lillian Greenwood tells Sky News that drivers could save around £500 a year thanks to repairs being made to roads. Speaking to Sky News with Anna Jones, the minister for the future of roads, says she believes potholes are "probably the biggest issue on the doorsteps". Greenwood adds the government is giving local councils the first share of £1.6bn in funding that has been allocated to pay for roads to be repaired.
