Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are spoke to the media after meeting for talks in Alaska on a potential ceasefire in the Ukraine war. The US president thanked his Russian counterpart for his "profound" statement and described the meeting as "very productive". "There were many, many points that we agreed on," he said. "I would say a couple of big ones, but we haven't quite got there, we've made some headway."
