Justice minister Jake Richards says the government is toughening up prison sentences for more serious offences - but has admitted the government is lessening sentences for minor crimes because they are "clearly not working". Mr Richards spoke to the Sky's Darren McCaffrey on Politics Hub after Justice Secretary David Lammy announced that those convicted of killing police or prison officers will receive whole life orders - with no chance of parole.
