Mum of murdered Libby Squire on what needs to be done to protect women and girls

The mother of murdered student Libby Squire says she supports government plans to train teachers to spot signs of misogyny in boys, but says tackling the problem "should be starting in the home." Lisa Squire, a vocal campaigner to improve safety for women and girls, says funding must be made available for the strategy, and says police also need to focus on "red flag offences" such as flashing and non-contact sexual harassment, as perpetrators often escalate from such crimes to serious offences.
