Pope Francis holds meeting with Israeli and Palestinian representatives, activists | VOA News

Pope Francis met a group of Israeli and Palestinians Thursday at the Vatican, among them former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former Palestinian Foreign Minister Nasser Al-Kidwa. They were joined by Palestinian peace activist Samer Sinijlawi and Israeli peace activist Gershon Baskin. The pope's visitors were in Italy to participate in the G7 meeting on Inclusion and Disability. The Vatican did not release any information about the meeting.
