Residents watch torrents of rainwater tear through Spanish village of Ubrique

Worried residents in the Spanish mountain town of Ubrique in Andalucía watched as torrents of rainwater tore through their streets. Storm Marta has brought heavy rain and rising floodwaters to the region, and emergency crews worked hard to clear the village's drainage system. The Iberian peninsula has already experienced a succession of storms in recent weeks, bringing heavy rain, thunderstorms and snow. More than 11,000 people have been forced to leave their homes in Andalucia, while across Spain nearly 170 roads have been closed
