The Sudan conflict, now in its second year, has forced over 840,000 refugees into South Sudan. Since November, an additional 120,000 refugees and returning South Sudanese have crossed the porous border using informal routes. The United Nations warns that these vulnerable groups face dire conditions as they arrive in border towns like Renk, which struggle to cope with the influx. Limited resources, inadequate shelter, and basic service shortages highlight the ongoing refugee crisis. Al Jazeera’s Catherine Soi reports from South Sudan's border town of Renk.
