There is hope for a humanitarian truce in Sudan. The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces and the Army have agreed in principle with a US plan to stop fighting. Thousands have been killed and many more displaced after the paramilitary captured el-Fasher in North Darfur in the latest wave if violence.
