In the Bekaa Valley, eastern Lebanon, Israeli air raids targeted a house and a number of buildings used by financial group Al-Qard al-Hassan offices early in the morning. The first strike destroyed a home, killing six family members, including women and children, as they slept. Neighbours described the area as civilian, with no military presence. The tightly packed houses suffered widespread damage. Rescue workers pulled survivors from the rubble, while locals condemned the attack as indiscriminate. A second strike hit Al-Qard al-Hassan, which Israel accused of funding Hezbollah. The ongoing strikes have devastated local businesses and caused widespread fear of future attacks.
