October 7, 2023, is a difficult day for the families of the kidnapped hostages. Gil Dickmann is one of them. The young Israeli is advocating for the return of the hostages. To do this, he travels abroad, speaks with Israeli politicians, and attends demonstrations. Two of his cousins were abducted by Hamas at the time. One, Yarden Roman-Gat, was released in 2023 as part of a hostage deal. The other, Carmel Gat, was shot by Hamas in August 2024 along with five other hostages as the Israeli army approached their hideout. He shares his perspective on the anniversary in an interview with Ingo Zamperoni.
