A Private Notice Question is held in the House of Lords over a decision by the CPS to acquit a Metropolitan Police firearms officer accused of the murder of Chris Kaba. Ministers have stressed that the decision by the Crown Prosecution Service "must be respected". But former Met commissioner Lord Hogan-Howe has been granted a Private Notice Question (PNQ) to discuss the case at around 3.15pm today. The question will be: "To ask HMG, following the acquittal of a police officer charged with murder in the case of Chris Kaba, what steps they plan to take to review the legal position of firearms officers."
